October 2008 Submission:

Here's the story behind the pic:

I had to put my cat down the morning this picture was taken and I had her for 13yrs. She was my best friend. When
I drove home with Sadie's remains I felt an unexpected overwhelming peace. Then when I went to pull in front of me house there was a Prairie Falcon (had to research the breed) right where I needed to pull up. The beautiful bird refused to move. Our first thought was "great now I have a injured bird to rescue." "Someone call the bird Sanctuary!" but when I knelt down and slowly approached him. The Falcon walk slowly tords me, tilting it's head from side to side then soared to my fence and turned and soared back refusing to leave my yard. I looked on line for biblical symbolism and found in a loss the Falcon represents the Holy Spirit. Because of this experience we decided to barrier her under my mothers Bird of Paradise. After my 12yr old son lead us in prayer and after Amen. We opened our eye to find numerous Monarch butterflies fluttering around. My parents who don't really have a spiritual bone in their bodies where the first ones to notice and say "Wow!" all of us we're in amazement. The story doesn't quite end yet. That evening I was suppose to go to a fellowship BBQ that we have monthly. My friends basically had to force me off the sofa and out the door to be there. I remember being in a silent prayer staring into to clear moon lit and star scattered sky. Then I was interrupted by a friend with a camera going picture crazy. She recently emailed me a very interesting picture that is attached. It shows a bright colored Orb on my head.

The passing of my Furry best friend I thought would be one of the hardest things to go through but by the grace of God I was blessed instead.

P.S. I was wearing a Black cloth hat with nothing to reflect off of and she took over 500 pictures that same night with nothing like it on any other picture, and 11,000 total pictures taken from that camera without the bright colored orb.

Thank You so much for your confirmation,
Angelia A.
